I mentioned the other day on an Iacast episode, it would be neat to have a demo of how game controller support works for Voiceover or in general. So what we're going to do is I'm going to fire up Voiceover and we're going to set up the game controller on the iPad or on the Mac with Mona for Mastodon. And we're going to see how it works, see if it works with Voiceover, and if it doesn't, what it actually does. So let's get this going.

So I'm in the settings window, so let's kind of explore a little bit.

Just press left on the DPAD or the control stick and it will go to the left. This is fantastic, folks. So if you have a game controller, if you're a gamer or you just don't like using the keyboard, you can do this on iPhone, iPad or the Mac. That's incredible, folks. So this has been one of the more fun IA demos that we've done in a while. The only problem was pairing up my Xbox controller because I had to tell it to forget I don't know how to tell it to change devices. I have that on PC as well, where I have to go forget my Xbox controller and then do it again. But this has been a fantastic episode, folks. Really enjoyed doing this.
