Hello everyone and welcome to another Iacast episode. All right, this is a different kind of episode today. My name is Michael Joey and we're starting a new kind of episode here on the IA cast. So every week that we do not do a roundtable, we're going to start doing some tech headlines. And I have several for this week. So this will be kind of like our first segment on this show, but it will be just our tech headlines that we normally do. So let's get into it. And there's been some interesting things happen this week. There's an article talking about possible Apple USBC ear pods coming out. So that's very exciting. And all these notes will be in our show notes that we're referencing. Microsoft is now doing a Microsoft loop for iOS and Android test flight. And so that's pretty exciting. And so you'll be able to check that out. If there's any seats left, you can Google that and we'll try to have a link for that in the show notes. So that's really neat. And then we're also seeing that we may see new Macs at WWDC. I heard reports of three potential new Mac desktops that may be announced. So that's really exciting. So those are just a few. And then what we're hearing is that we may see an Apple headset WWDC and who knows, with rumors and those kind of things. So all of that is coming. We're also going to see Google I O in the next week or so. So that's all very exciting. So we also learned that Google's two factor Authenticator app was not into encrypting the keys. So they said that they are going to be doing that in the future. But I personally would probably stay away from the Google Authenticator app until this has been fixed. Another interesting thing that's been announced is that Microsoft has been blocked from acquiring Activision and Blizzard for their nearly $70 billion price because of the UK regulations. They are not going to be combining the companies because of that reason, at least at this point. They may appeal that and things like that, but at this time they are not going to be able to move forward with their acquisition, which I'm a huge Xbox fan, so that's kind of a disappointment for me. I kind of wish it would have gone through just because I like achievement points, selfish reason, but that's kind of disappointing. We're also going to see that WhatsApp is now allowing people to use their same accounts on multiple phones this is very interesting. It's allowing more people to use their phone, multiple phones with one account, which is fantastic because you used to be able to do that on the desktop. Now you could do it on multiple phones. So if you're a user of WhatsApp this is a welcome feature. And one of the headlines that I'm really excited about is the fact that Microsoft and Windows is now rolling out the phone link app to work with iPhones. I don't know if that's in production or if that's in the insider channels, but it's very exciting either way. So I'm really hoping that we get more information on that. And I'll put links in the show notes, so that's kind of the big headlines that I found for this week and things that I'm really excited about. So you could probably hear other big stories on Unmute Presents. They do a Friday show their Friday fines. I'll be putting this episode out today and it'll come out on Thursdays for the Iacast and then we will have our show every two weeks but this episode will come out every two weeks or so. Every week or so. So we'll have a lot more content on the Iacast feed plus. See great segue there. We now have our premium feed Iacast Plus. I'll put the link to that in the show notes, but starting as low as $3, you can subscribe and become a member of Iacast Plus where you get premium content and you get access to all of our premium feed content, which includes our outtakes and any events that we would like to put up there.
